Eastman Construction Company was contracted to transform a 45,000 square foot commercial office building into a full service education complex. The exterior renovation consisted of three new stair towers, new windows and entrances, roof repair and replacement, masonry restoration and site improvements. The interior of the building had to be totally redone to accommodate classrooms, a two-story gymnasium, cafeteria, observation rooms, quiet rooms, music rooms and a media center. The building was also outfitted with new bathroom facilities and new electrical and air-conditioning systems fully equipped with energy management controls. |

Eastman recently completed extensive renovations to the Horizon School's new facility located in Livingston, NJ for Cerebral Palsy of North Jersey. Renovations included rebuilding entranceways, bathrooms, showers, classrooms, and an auditorium so that they are easily accessible to all students. The school was also outfitted with features such as an elevator, smoke alarms and a voice evacuation system. |

Eastman Construction Company has successfully completed three expansions to the Peanut Shell Child Care Center. The latest expansion, which was completed in only 3 weeks, included the installation of a new fire alarm system and upgrading all standards, allowing the center to surpass the Department of Community Affairs regulations and receive full accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children. |
